Sponsorship Campaign Opportunities

The Energy for Students (EFS) program is supported by organizations that recognize the importance of education, in particular, energy education for students, teachers and communities throughout Nova Scotia. Our sponsors enable the EFS program to present at Professional Development Days, In-school workshops and provide class room & online resources on Nova Scotia's energy sectors.

Our 2010 Sponsorship Campaign is underway to develop partnerships with organizations that play a role in one or more of Nova Scotia's energy sectors including oil & gas, natural gas distribution, electrical power generation, wind, tidal & wave, solar, biomass, biofuel, geothermal, other renewables and energy efficiency and conservation. Investments made by these partners will go towards updating sector material and resources for the website pages. They will also assist to develop EFS presentations for delivery to students in the classroom and at professional development days for teachers throughout the province and provide resource material, specific to an energy sector, for the classrooms.
